Perfection of agreements

This agreement between Terravision Electric LTD (Seller) and the purchaser (Customer) is understood to be finalised with confirmation of the order by the Seller in accordance with the methods and terms indicated in the following Article. Completion of the agreements implies the Customer's acknowledgement and full acceptance of these general sales conditions. If the Customer is a consumer, once the online purchase procedure has been completed, he/she shall print or save an electronic copy and in any case keep these general terms and conditions of sale, in compliance with the provisions of the regulations on distance sales.

Purchase modalities

The Customer can only purchase the products present in the online catalogue at the moment of the order submission and viewable online at shop.goldenride.co.uk as described in the relevant information sheets. The order shall be validly processed upon receipt on the e-mail box communicated by the Customer of the confirmation of the payment of the order itself. Correct receipt of the order shall be confirmed by the Seller by means of an e-mail reply sent to the e-mail address communicated by the Customer. This confirmation message shall contain an order number to be used in any further communication with the Seller. The message shall contain all data entered by the Customer, all information relating to the essential characteristics of the goods, the price, payment methods and delivery terms and costs. The Customer shall verify its correctness and promptly communicate any corrections to Customer Service, according to the procedures described in this document. In the event of non-acceptance of the order, the Seller shall promptly notify the Customer.

Prices

The products shall be sold at the list prices in force at the time the order is placed by the Customer and net of delivery charges, which shall be calculated at the time the order is placed. Delivery prices are inclusive of taxes.

Order preparation

From the moment the Customer places an order on shop.goldenride.co.uk website, the time required for the preparation and the shipment of the purchased items depends on the availability of the products. On the website for each product the availability and the order preparation time is indicated. The wording "Shipping in 24/48 hours" indicates the time needed to process the order and prepare the package, and then proceed to shipping. Normally, the contracted courier delivers in the UK within 48/72 hours from dispatch. In the case of a multiple order, shipment may take place when the order is complete, i.e. after all the products ordered have been found. If there are, for example, products among these that are marked "In Reservation" in the card, the order may be processed when these products are also available. If, when an order is being processed, a product is no longer available, because it is out of stock or cannot be found, an e-mail will inform the Customer of the inconvenience and the order will be updated with the deletion of the unavailable item. Other products will be dispatched and the amount of the unavailable item will be automatically deducted from the total amount indicated at the time of purchase. Regardless of the payment method chosen and in the case of prepayment, the customer will be refunded the value of the missing item.

The photos on the site of the products on sale are for illustrative purposes only; the manufacturer reserves the right to make changes to the products with respect to the photos on the site without giving prior notice. The Seller will endeavour as far as possible to update the photos of the products according to these variations.

The Buyer is obliged to communicate his availability for collection of the vehicle ordered within 7 days of the communication by the Seller informing him that the vehicle is ready for dispatch, AT:

If the Buyer fails to collect the vehicle within said term, the Seller may exercise the rights recognised to him by law. The Seller shall have the right to obtain compensation for damages, to the extent of 15% of the gross sale price. Compensation may be determined to a greater or lesser extent depending on whether the Seller proves that it has suffered greater damage or whether the Buyer proves that the Seller has suffered less damage or no damage at all.

Right of withdrawal

In accordance with the law on electronic commerce, if the Customer is a consumer (i.e. an individual who purchases goods for purposes not related to his professional activity, i.e. he does not make the purchase by indicating in the order form to the Seller a VAT number), he has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract for any reason, without the need to provide explanations and without any penalty, except as indicated in the following point. To exercise this right, the Customer must send the Seller a written notice to that effect, within 14 days from the date of receipt of the goods. Such notice shall be sent by letter addressed to:

Terravision Electric LTD
260-270 Butterfield Great Marlings, Luton, Bedfordshire, England, LU2 8DL

or by email to stratford@terravisionelectric.com always sent within the aforementioned 14-day period. Once the aforesaid notice of withdrawal has been received, the Seller's Customer Service shall promptly provide the Customer with instructions on how to return the goods, which must be returned by the Customer and received by the Seller within 14 days of authorisation. The right of withdrawal is however subject to the following conditions:

  • the right applies to the purchased product in its entirety;
  • the purchased goods must be intact and returned in their original packaging, complete in all its parts (including packaging and any documentation, etc.);
  • the affixing of labels or adhesive tape directly on the original product packaging must be avoided in all cases;
  • shipping costs relating to the return of the goods shall be borne by the Customer. In the case of returns from non-EU countries, all costs relating to transport, customs clearance and VAT shall be borne by the consumer;
  • shipment, until the certificate of receipt in our warehouse, is under the full responsibility of the Customer.

The sending of the return request by the Customer in the manner described above and the relative authorisation by e-mail from the Seller constitute a necessary condition for the return to be accepted. The return authorisation sent to the Customer by the Seller contains the address of the warehouse to which to send the goods to be returned. The Seller reserves the right to refuse unauthorised returns that do not comply with these return conditions. The goods shall then be returned to the Customer at the original shipping address.

In the event of damage to the goods during transport, the Seller shall notify the Customer of the incident (within the 5th day of receipt of the goods in its warehouses), to enable him to file a timely complaint against the carrier of his choice and obtain reimbursement of the value of the goods (if insured); in this case, the product shall be made available to the Customer for its return, at the same time cancelling the request for withdrawal; The Seller shall not be liable in any way for damage or theft/loss of goods returned by uninsured shipments. Upon arrival (in the warehouse), the product shall be examined to assess any damage or tampering not resulting from transport. If the packaging and/or the original packing are damaged, the Seller shall deduct a percentage from the refund due, in any case not exceeding 10% of the same, as a contribution to the costs of restoration or may refuse the return. Without prejudice to any repair costs for ascertained damage to the original packaging, the Seller shall refund the Customer the full amount already paid, excluding shipping costs. The refund shall be made within 14 days from the return of the goods. The refund operation shall be carried out by the Seller, depending on the method of payment used when placing the order, by re-crediting the amount due, which shall be paid to the credit card or Paypal account used at the time of the order or by bank transfer to the current account that the Customer shall communicate upon express request by the Seller. The right of withdrawal shall be totally forfeited, due to the lack of the essential condition of integrity of the goods (packaging and/or its contents), in cases where the Seller ascertains:

  • the absence of the original outer packaging and/or inner packaging;
  • the absence of integral elements of the product (accessories, parts, ...);
  • damage to the product for causes other than its transport;
  • damage to the original packaging;
  • the removal of labels tags and/or security seals.

In the event of forfeiture of the right of withdrawal, the Seller shall return the purchased goods to the sender, charging the sender for the shipping costs. Any complaints must be addressed to:
